rootgrow™ friendly mycorrhizal fungi colonises the plant's or tree's roots within 2-4 weeks and produces a secondary fungal root system, increasing the effective root area by up to 700 times, that extends out into the soil to extract water, minerals and nutrients.
The granules in this 75g sachet are sufficient ....
• for 5 x 2 litre container-grown plants or one large 10 - 15 litre container grown plant.
• for 19 x 0.5 litre container plants (e.g. bedding, rockery and strawberry plants).
• to mix into 5 litres of compost or growing substrate for hanging baskets, seed trays, patio containers.
• to treat one square metre for seed planting (vegetables and ornamentals).
It is also sufficient to mix into 5 litres of growing substrate used for potting Bonsai trees. Adding mycorrhizal fungi means that within 2-4 weeks the roots of the re-potted tree are benefiting from all the available water and nutrients in the pot meaning that the tree has an improved survival rate, is less stressed and has better protection against diseases.
